Tyson Lee, President and C.E.O.
Tyson Lee is a Graduate of Fairhope (Alabama) High School where he earned Eagle Scout, was a four year member of the National Honor Society and served as Student Body President.
After Graduating from High School, Tyson attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and
foreign languages, was awarded West Point’s SAS Award and served as Cadet Company Commander.
After West Point, Tyson served with distinction for over eight years in the U.S. Army graduating from Airborne, Ranger and Jumpmaster School with Honors and receiving medals for Meritorious Service, Army Commendation, Achievement and National Defense Service. Tyson finished his service as a Captain, Military Intelligence, HHC Brigade Company Commander.
After a distinguished career of military service, Mr. Lee has had continued success as a top professional in the insurance, financial services, staffing and recruiting industries. Tyson’s professional accomplishments include serving as Director of Recruiting, Marketing, and Sales Growth for Liberty National Life, starting and operating his own New York Life Insurance business and playing a instrumental role in the launching of U.S. operations for a international staffing company. Tyson Lee has recently started a new chapter in his professional life by launching Ranger Industrial Services.
Personally, Tyson has a deep belief that participation in sports and physical fitness has been paramount to his success as a soldier and businessman. Tyson participated in track, football and tennis in high school, football and boxing at West Point and was three time Hawaii State Boxing Champion.
Bill Haney, Senior Program Manager
Bill Haney has over 30 years of experience in the river operations on the inland waterway system. He has owned and operated in excess of eleven (11) push/work boats and 122 barges in the Mobile area. He has supervised the new construction of push boats and barges for many years as well. Bill has served as everything from an owner of the inland river boats to the COO of large scale marine vessel construction companies. He is arguably one of the most knowledgeable people in this area in the field of boats, barges, and other types of marine vessels that operate along the inland waterway system.
Philip O. Milican, Quality Control Manager
Philip Milican is a retired United States Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer (CWO3) with over 22 years of experience in the maritime safety and security industry. Philip Served as the Marine Inspector, Sector Mobile, from 1991 to 2014. He is certified in domestic Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) for the following vessel types; OSV, D&O Barges, Industrial Vessels, SPV and Dry Dock Duties: Marine Inspector (MI), Verifying Officer (VO) for D&O Barge regulations. Philip has an intricate understanding of shipboard construction, engineering fundamentals, preventive maintenance and Periodic Safety Test Procedures (PSTP).
William James, HSE Manager
William James has over 26 years of safety experience. He has served as a safety officer in the United States Navy, Safety Supervisor at Northrop Grumman, Regional Safety Manager for Praxair, Inc. (East Region) and the Health, Safety and Environmental III for Akers Solutions. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified with a BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
Holly Sartain, Administrative Assistant
As the newest member of the Ranger Team, Holly is a 2015 graduate of the University of South Alabama with a BA degree in International Relations with a minor in International Business. Holly handles the administrative facets of our operations as well as assists in sales and marketing.
